Chief Master Sergeant PAUL M. DURHAM Chief Master Sgt. Paul M. Durham is the interim Command Chief, Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. He is the senior enlisted leader and the primary advisor to the commander on all matters regarding the readiness, training, professional development and effective utilization of the center’s 2,000 total force Airmen. The center is responsible for the lifecycle management of nuclear weapons systems supporting two legs of the nation’s nuclear triad, including intercontinental ballistic missiles, air-launched cruise missiles, gravity bombs, and nuclear command-and-control communication systems. Chief Durham is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He entered the Air Force in June 2003 and graduated from the Security Forces Apprentice Course, at San Antonio, Texas, in March 2004. Throughout his career, he has held a myriad of security and law enforcement roles. As a citizen Airmen, he volunteered to serve on state active-duty status to support state natural disasters and domestic operations. Chief Durham has been involved in operations: JUMP START, ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM and COMBINED JOINT TASK FORCE – HORN OF AFRICA. Prior to his current position, Chief Durham served as the Senior Enlisted Leader of the 150th Security Forces Squadron, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico.
