The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC), Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Systems Directorate, Program Executive Office (PEO), is seeking a highly qualified Supervisory Intelligence Specialist (Director of Intelligence) to fill a GG-0132-15 vacancy at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
This position is a GG-0132-15 which has a typical 2025 salary range of $146,481 - $190,424 (locality included).
POSITION: This position will serve as the Director of Intelligence, ICBM Systems Directorate, PEO. As the Director, the incumbent serves as the intelligence technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), Senior Intelligence Analyst/Advisor (SIA), and Organizational Senior Functional (OSF) on all Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) and Acquisition Intelligence matters for the ICBM PEO.

DUTIES:
- Responsible for the planning, programming, execution, operational direction, and management of all intelligence functions and resources supporting intelligence sensitive programs at Hill AFB and the PEO’s multiple operation locations.
- Plans, directs, and manages the entire intelligence effort of PEO-ICBM’s operational support mission to include Direct Program Support analyzing weapon system components.
- Identifies intelligence requirements, researches adversary vulnerabilities to optimize weapon system operations.
- Identifies gaps and resolves/mitigates deficiencies while delivering technical intelligence solutions to the program office.
- Supports core base-level intelligence services such as Special Security Office (SSO) and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications Information Technology (JWICS-IT) services.
- Provides strategic advice, guidance, and intelligence workforce management recommendations to the PEO and the intelligence functional community.
SKILLS:
- Expert knowledge of the intelligence cycle, policy, guidance, and the structure, organization, roles and missions, and inter-relationships of the national Intelligence Community, DoD, and USAF.
- Proficient knowledge and experience in acquisition intelligence principles, policy, guidance and the role intelligence plays through a weapons system’s life-cycle.
- Expert knowledge of a comprehensive range of intelligence research methods, techniques, practices and methods used to identify and analyze complex multi-source intelligence information.
- Must possess a strong drive and curiosity to stay abreast of the most current cyber challenges.
- Experience managing people and meeting mission objectives; communicating clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy both orally and in writing.
- Desire and willingness to engage with unfamiliar personnel and programs to determine needs, conduct analysis and identify/reduce risk.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- U.S. CITIZENSHIP
- Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
- This is a designated Drug Testing Position.
- Occasional travel to supported organizations and potentially for training opportunities.
- A Master’s Degree is highly desired.
