Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) is currently seeking one full-time Directorate Operations Specialist to work in the Nuclear Command, Control and Communications Integration Directorate located at Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts.
This announcement seeks to fill one NH-301-03 position (009885171M) which has an anticipated 2026 salary range with locality of $101,375 - $156,715.

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the management operations specialist for planning, directing, and organizing programs (including but not limited to: Continuity of Operations Planning, Support Agreements, Program Objective Memorandum and Strategic Planning) and activities in direct support of the Staff Director in the AFNWC/NC Directorate (to include facility project management). This is a demanding, high-visibility position managing the planning and execution of business support operations including analysis, staff advisory, and consulting assistance to accomplish programs and projects across a cross section of mission directorate and functional organization lines.
DUTIES:
- Works in the NC3 Operations Division within the Force Management Branch.
- Manages the training and development program for the Directorate.
- Executes the Acquisition Professional Development Program for the Director.
- Responsible for military upgrade training, deployment readiness training and total force annual training for personnel at 7 locations.
- Aggregate training data and present to the deputy director monthly.
- Direct the onboarding and offboarding programs.
- Serves as the Unit Deployment Manager.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and background in personnel management.
- Ability to execute as an administrator on Air Force training systems.
- Ability to plan, organize, and lead critical aspects of directorate wide efforts and integrate, analyze, and manage a variety of efforts in support of the process.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with data collection and visualization tools.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and advise senior leaders as a subject matter expert.
- Experience working independently.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION (NOT ALL INCLUSIVE):
- U.S. CITIZENSHIP
- Must be SECRET eligible; this position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance. Active SECRET clearance preferred. Please include current clearance level in your resume
