Missile maintainers tear down an ICBM for Maintenance
Senior Airman Andrew Parrish, 90th Missile Maintenance Squadron topside technician, performs maintenance on the forward section of a reentry system, Feb. 2, 2018, in the F. E. Warren Air Force Base missile complex. The 90th MMXS maintains approximately 150 Minuteman III ICBMs. Missile maintenance teams perform periodic maintenance to maintain the on-alert status for launch facilities, ensuring the success of the nuclear deterrence mission.
