Ceremonial Groundbreaking and remarks
Violet Albright, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District chief of construction, gives opening remarks at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont. for the Commercial Entrance Control Facility groundbreaking, May 28, 2026. As the first USACE-managed project groundbreaking in the “Sentinel” program, the CECF will serve as the “gateway” for future modernization efforts to the installation’s Minuteman III ICBM arsenal, enabling easier and direct access for contractors and heavy machinery to Sentinel construction sites around the installation.
