DOD educates military service members, civilian employees on Social Security Payroll Tax Deferral
In order to provide relief during the COVID-19 pandemic, a Presidential Memorandum was issued on August 8, 2020, followed by Internal Revenue Service guidance issued on August 28, 2020, to temporarily defer the withholding of Social Security taxes for certain individuals beginning September 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.

Test launch demonstrates safe, ready Minuteman III deterrent
A team of AFNWC subject matter experts supported the launch of an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile equipped with a test reentry vehicle at 12:03 a.m. Pacific Time Sept. 2 from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California.

AFA Utah Chapter 235 recognizes 2020 Scowcroft Award winners
The Air Force Association Utah Chapter 235 hosted the 2020 Brent Scowcroft Awards Ceremony Aug. 19 to recognize the outstanding individual and team logistics, maintenance and sustainment performers in the ICBM, air dominance, supply chain and munitions career fields.
